On Sunday, March 19, 2023, IMIG hosted a health fair in Chinatown from 9am to 3pm. Volunteers provided 97 blood pressure screenings, 81 blood glucose checks, and 51 BMI measurements for a total of 229 measurements while also providing education! Mahalo to the volunteers for their great work!

On February 25, 2023, JABSOM students presented their research projects in Internal Medicine at the American College of Physicians Hawaii Chapter 2023 Annual Scientific Meeting. This event was offered live at the Japanese Cultural Center. Attendees also had the opportunity to access the live keynote and education sessions virtually.

To get out of the escape room, students put their knowledge of the renal system to the test! IMIG MS2 representative, Jonathan Hu, created this interactive and immersive Renal Escape Room to helps students check their progress and prepare for upcoming tests while having fun with fellow classmates. This engaging event was held on January 31, 2023. Thank you to all who volunteered and participated!
