John A Burns School of Medicine

The University of Hawaii John A. Burns School of Medicine was established in 1965. Its mission is to teach and train high quality physicians, biomedical students, and allied health professionals for Hawaii and the Pacific, and to conduct both clinical and basic research in areas of specific interest to the region.

Strolling Through the Match

Strolling Through the Match is a resource developed by the American Academy of Family Physicians but designed for consistency and applicability to the career planning objectives of most medical students, regardless of specialty interest. It is revised annually by the AAFP.

FREIDA is the American Medical Association’s Fellowship and Residency Electronic Interactive Database. It provides information on over 8,200 graduate medical education programs accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education, as well as over 200 combined specialty programs.
